Marcus is co-founder and managing director of Alinea & Company. Together with Kai, he developed a “new way of thinking” after years in strategy and management consulting and founded Alinea.

As a principal, he supports companies in rigorously aligning their business models with customer value creation. He is driven by the sustainable anchoring of value- and results-oriented working methods in his clients' day-to-day operations. His projects have included advising clients in the telecommunications & technology, pharmaceutical, and energy industries. He holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg.

Marcus enjoys spending his free time on, in, or under the water: sailing, at the beach, or diving.
